Portrait I took of United States Olympic champion speed skater, Shani Davis. Taken in front of a black backdrop.

Shani was the first black athlete to win a gold medal in an individual Winter Olympic sport and did so during the 2006 Winter Games in Torino. In 2010, he became the first skater to win back-to-back gold medals in the 1000 m.
