Your skate pictures are always a great pleasure to see for me. There are not so many on this site, and yours remind me of the great pleasure I have every time I skate, especially on ice... thank you

Thanks, Pierre. There really aren't a lot of speed skating photos on deviantART at all, so it's a treat for me to submit them now and then even though very few people enjoy them. It means a lot though, to know that you do. So you skate?! Have you ever put on speed skates?

Yes, I even passed a graduate at roller speed skating here in France. But competitions were few and a long time ago when I was 20 (I wear roller-skates at that time). I made a bit of short track too. Now I'm only skating for pleasure, mainly ice skating since this winter begins

Really?! Even a bit of short track?! That's wonderful. Ah, I am jealous. As for me? I do not skate nor have I ever learned to. I'd love to learn, but I just never seem to have the opportunity despite spending full-time hours around ice. I live with a speed skater and a hockey player and neither of those men have managed to drag me onto the ice yet.
